About Miss Nabeela Ahmed
I am a fully trained UK Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
I am dual qualified in both dentistry and medicine. My dental training was from Guy's Hospital, London and my medical training was split between Barts and the Royal London where I undertook my preclinical training and Sheffield University Medical school for my clinical time.
My higher surgical training in Maxillofacial Surgery has been across several prestigious teaching and major trauma centres in London and the East Midlands including St Georges Hospital, Kings College Hospital, Guy's Hospital, The Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham and The Royal Derby Hospital.
I spent two years overseas in Australia and New Zealand on a fellowship pursuing my interests in trauma and skin cancer surgery and returned in July 2021. I worked at the Royal Darwin Hospital in Australia and in Hamilton Waikato District Health Board, New Zealand.
I am currently a full time consultant at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and my specialist interests are facial deformity and facial trauma.
I also routinely manage and treat:
Facial pain
Red and white patches in the mouth
Impacted wisdom teeth
TMJ pain
Lumps and bumps in the oral cavity and neck
